What you'll do
In this role, you will own sourcing, procurement, and vendor relationships for components that go into our spacecraft performing rendezvous, proximity operations, and docking. You will be expected to build the supply chain function for Aule in its entirety from the ground up, work directly with engineering teams, and ensure that hardware shows up on time, at the right quality, and at the right cost.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end procurement for spacecraft subsystems
- Oversee demand planning, inventory management, and procurement to support build schedules and mitigate risks
- Identify, onboard, and manage vendors for space-grade and high-reliability components
- Work directly with engineering teams to understand the technical requirements
- Drive RFQs, negotiations, cost optimization, and lead-time reduction
- Track and manage procurement timelines aligned with build and test schedules
- Maintain structured records
What we look for
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain/Industrial Engg., Mechanical Engg., Aerospace engg, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in supply chain / procurement in aerospace, space tech, or high-reliability hardware
- Experience with RFQs, negotiations, and supplier management
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in spacecraft systems
- Understanding of export control / compliance (ITAR and EAR)
- Familiarity with international logistics, and customs clearance processes for high-value technical hardware
