Bengaluru | On-site | Full-time
What you'll do
You will lead Aule's move into a new facility and manage it once we're in. The role covers finding the right space, getting approvals in place, overseeing the build-out of our offices, labs and cleanroom, and then running the facility day to day. You will work closely with the founding team and coordinate with brokers, landlords, architects, consultants, contractors and government departments.
Responsibilities
- Site Search & Leasing: Work with brokers to identify and evaluate industrial or warehouse spaces against our requirements, and negotiate lease terms with landlords.
- Approvals & Compliance: Manage all statutory approvals and licences needed to set up and operate the facility, including building, factory, fire, pollution and electrical clearances.
- Design & Build-out: Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, HVAC consultants and cleanroom specialists to plan and execute the build-out of our offices, labs, and cleanroom.
- Budget & Vendors: Own the project budget and timelines, source and negotiate with vendors and contractors, and flag risks and cost overruns early.
- Facility Operations: Once the facility is ready, manage its day-to-day running, including maintenance, utilities, security, vendors, and the upkeep of labs and the cleanroom.
- Space Planning: Plan for future expansion so the facility can grow with the team without disrupting operations.
